Beskydy

Beskydy
Bows & Bellow support band

An afternoon of Eastern European live music from Beskydy, supported by Bows and Bellows. Beskydy – listed as Critics Choice in Time Out - will take you through a mystical journey from Eastern Europe to the Middle East with their passionate renderings of traditional melodies fused with contemporary musical sensibilities. They truly are an inspiring 'must see' for traditional folk music lovers. Bows and Bellows’ repertoire is drawn from the songs and dances heard at weddings, parties, feasts, and wakes for hundreds of years, most of them originating in Eastern Europe. From slow haunting waltzes from Romania to toe-tapping French and Celtic melodies, Bows and Bellows are a fantastically lively way to start the afternoon!
