Booking Information
Unless specified otherwise, tickets for events are available as follows:

By post
Please use the booking form opposite. There will be an administration charge of 50p per
booking form. Please send your completed form, with payment, to Portsmouth Visitor
Information Service, Clarence Esplanade, Southsea, PO5 3PB. All postal bookings must be
received by Friday 12th June 2009
In person
Tickets can be booked in person at the Visitor Information Centre – 9:30am to 5:15pm daily.
If you wish to purchase your tickets on the day of an event, please contact the Box Office to
check availability.
On the door
Due to demand, patrons are advised to book in advance. Those events which must be booked
in advance are marked accordingly. Any remaining tickets for other events will be sold on the
door (cash or cheque only).
Methods of payment
Payment may be made by Switch, Visa, Barclaycard, Mastercard or cheque. Cheques should be
made payable to Portsmouth City Council.
Concessions
Concessionary rates apply to full time students, recipients of Jobseeker’s Allowance and
Working Family Tax Credit and Leisure Card Holders. Please provide appropriate identification
when purchasing tickets. Wheelchair users and one of their companions are entitled to two
tickets for the price of one.
‘Kids a Quid’
Young people aged 18 or under and who are in full time education can purchase Festivities
tickets for just £1.
Schools
Schools wishing to make group bookings for children’s events, please contact the
Box Offi ce for further details.
Refunds
We regret that tickets may not be exchanged nor money refunded.
Access
We try to make all Festivities Events as accessible as possible and would like to ensure that
people enjoy their visits to the various venues. To enable us to do this, please notify the Box
Office staff of any particular requirements you may have when making your booking.
Free Theatre Tickets for U26s on selected events at NTR
The New Theatre Royal has been selected to take part in ‘A Night Less Ordinary’, ‘an Arts
Council England scheme, supported by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, to get
more young people into theatres across the country. The £2.5 million scheme will provide
618,000 free theatre tickets to anyone under 26 in more than 200 venues across England,
between February 2009 and March 2011. For more information visit
